whoa, trippy. i do recall reading that Jack signed on to do this. American artists, especially actors, have a long history of doing adverts outside the US market. Plus the white stripes have always worked with innovative directors for their videos (most notably Michel Gondry) and this seems in line with that. and of course, i am totally biased in defending a beloved detroiter.
