This just might be the worst rendition of a song ever attempted by a human - EVER.
How sweet the sound.
If this had happened at a proper lefty school, there would have been a riot. Score for the Bush Administration’s primary plan since 9/11: to create, propagate and administrate a feared populace.
When the people are too scared to stand-up to a bullsh*t arrest like this, the government’s free to do exactly as they please, from taser-happy rent-a-cops at college campuses to the White House. Iran, here we come!!!
As a follow-up to these Jena videos. Spelman and Morehouse students are doing a march on CNN tomorrow at noon. They’re planning to wear their “Sunday best”, to draw attention to the fact that these types of marches were happening in Atlanta 40 years ago, and that civil rights marches are still necessary.
CNN was late to the game in reporting about the Jena Six, and was trumped to the story by more than a month by the BBC. When they finally got around to a report, Paris Hilton was freed from jail, and the report only aired once. They were making-up for lost ground last night, with live interviews with two of Martin Luther King Jr.’s children. The piece lasted about seven minutes.
Hollywood sends ‘Merkins to the sub-continent to bumble, look amazed & um, realize stuff.
Timmmi will like this one.
