Sorry WS, but this stupid arrest of a tiresome egomaniac by stupid cops is hardly a sign of a national fascist state. If the populace was truly feared, we wouldn’t have even heard about this, much less seen 50 angles of it on YouTube.
Finally re Iran: not gonna happen, cuz US would get its ass handed to it in both Iran AND Iraq.

There was a follow up story on this guy today. He apparently brought his own camera to the event and had a bystander film him during his question and subsequent arrest. he also snatched the mic out of the hands of another questioner. He has a history of stunts like this that he films for his Youtube phase. As for Iran, there’s a good essay on Salon today about why Bush probably isn’t looking to attack iran… check it out
